Denim Guide

SIZE MATTERS

Rumble59 jeans tend to be one size smaller, so one size larger than your standard size is usually the better choice. To avoid any hassle with an exchange or return costs, it is best to take a closer look at the size chart in the respective article before ordering. We are also happy to help and advise you at info@rumble59.com.

Note on measuring:
The measurements given in the size charts are always based on the item being laid flat – they do not refer to body measurements or how the items fit on the body!
If you are unsure, it is best to lay out your favorite jeans in front of you and measure them as shown in the sketch in the respective size chart. This way, you can compare the measurements perfectly and find exactly the right size for you.

HANDLE WITH CARE

We recommend wearing the jeans for as long as possible without washing them. This way you will enjoy the deep blue color for a very long time and get your very own patina, as the abrasion/wear marks will become more visible.
If you don't want to leave your jeans completely untreated before wearing them, you should place them in lukewarm or cold water (20-30 degrees) for approx. 15 minutes first. Then simply hang them up wet and leave them to dry - even if it takes longer, it's better not to use a tumble dryer or a heater. When ironing, the temperature should not be hotter than level 2.
Washing is of course still allowed! If you turn the jeans inside out, wash them at a maximum of 40 degrees with neutral detergent and don't use the spin cycle, you can preserve the blue color for a long time and prevent wash marks. Note: RAW jeans can shrink during the first wash and their raw, untreated character is also altered - if you want to avoid this for as long as possible, dry cleaning would be the first choice.

I'VE GOT THE BLUES

In order to achieve the deep blue color of our jeans, they are not pre-washed or only lightly pre-washed and can lose a lot of color as a result. Every dark blue denim will “bleed”, because the dark color is only achieved and can only be retained for a long time if the denim is dyed several times with indigo dye, which is not color-fast. This causes the typical, natural ageing process of so-called blue fabrics. For this reason, caution is advised with all light-colored fabric coverings, wallpaper or bags. Body heat can also cause discoloration of light-colored clothing such as underwear, socks and shoes.

All Rumble59 jeans are produced in top quality and according to the highest ecological standards. The use of chemical additives or bleaching agents is completely avoided.
